What kind of efficiencies is everyone getting with batch sparging?
I added this length of tubing around the edge of my false bottom and had significantly less issues running off today. So that was nice...
Just barely hit the desired OG after starting with a slightly lower pre-boil gravity and a 30 minute or so boil before the boil.
Didn't have to mess with any DME or anything but I'd like to not have to boil for longer than 60 minutes to get where I'm supposed to be.
Morebeer instructions said I should be between 1.059-1.063 and I think it came out to be 1.058 going into the fermentor.
