Food,drink Recs around French Quarter

Spending a 5 days in New Orleans and looking for some good food and drink recommendations. Up for anything from fine dining to hole in the wall places. Some place around the quarter would be nice but not opposed to cabbing it if it's a can't miss spot. Thanks!

If you're spending 5 days you gotta get out the FQ for at least 1 day.
Go to the warehouse district and tour the WWII museum then at at American Sector which is in the museum.
Hit up uptown specifically magazine st for some of the best shopping.
For dinner:
Casamento's
Commander's palace
La petite grocery
Atchafalaya for the best brunch in the city.
Lilly's (inexpensive but some of the best Vietnamese you'll ever have)
Tons more options but i wouldn't spend more than half my time in the quarter.

Such a wide open question. Do you have any type of food you really want while you're here?
When are you coming here? Casamento's isn't open all year round, but I think it's a can't miss place, for sure.
If you're here on a Friday, I would honestly seriously consider going to Galatoire's for Friday lunch and, if you do, plan on it being a long drawn out meal so you can savor the whole package which includes the atmosphere there for that meal. Drink, order an app, drink, order another app, drink, order a main course, drink, order dessert, drink, order cafe brulot, relax and hail a cab so you don't trip on the uneven sidewalks trying to get back to your hotel or stay until it's time for dinner and do it all over again.

I agree with this. Lots to do just outside of the quarter.
I would suggest getting lunch at the Butcher shop, day drinks at the Chart Room, night drinks at the Carousel Bar.

Thread hijacked, my apologies.
If Paul Millard is our QB this year, we are fricked.
