How the hell to you separate those? Not all the same style, by the way. I would probably choose a different one each might of the week...

A more interesting rank would be greatness in relationship to price point in which I'd go

Jai Alai
THA
Heady
Pliny

In that order, all great in their own right...

NBD - Double Mountain Hop Lava. Had before, will have again.

New taproom on the way home from work. They have 52 taps - 80%,of which are local. I needto forget this place exists.

Stone would do well for IPA and also stouts IMHO... The Espresso RIS bomber at $10-11 is a great one..

As a Tampa local with some hunting you can find Jai Alai for $8.50-9.00 a sixer on occasion. That's a bargain.. I typically buy at the brewery at $11 but that premium is for freshness.

I just enjoyed. a bomber of Deschutes Hop Henge for $4.99. Tough to beat that deal. I've said it before, but Deschutes makes some really great beers, but when you factor in the price, they are unbeatable.

Heady
Jai Alai
Pliny
THA

have to flip the THA and Pliny from your list. THA is really good, but I just don't find it to be great.

Trumping them all......Abrasive.

borellia, still waiting for you to release the bat signal for it.

anyone who is looking for Heady, i'm still getting my ducks in a row, but i should be there in late january.

I am the same way with THA. Sure, there are sexier IPAs out there, but I could drink THA all day every day.

THA is world class for sure. Such a great aroma and finish. I love that beer and am glad it's readily available to me.

Jai Alai and THA are both great citrusy IPAs, but each beer has different characteristics that make them great. THA is more crisp and light while Jai Alai has those resiny hops with a bigger malt backbone.

I haven't been fortunate enough yet to taste Heady or Pliny, but once you get to this level, it's hard to rank which is better because they bring different things to the table to appreciate.

I get that and the RIS for around $7 a bomber, which I take full advantage of.

I actually emailed carin from France44 today. Waiting on a response. It's December, my patience is wearing thin.

Just got home from a meeting. FBD soon.

We saw the regular RIS for $8-9, the Espresso was more like $9-11 here...

Heady is way better than Pliny IMO. Pure, clean hops. Heady makes Pliny seem malty. If I get some Heady at some point before you get the chance to taste it, I will send you a can.

I agree with this. Heady is just so crisp and clean...

As far as bang for your buck, I was able to get 6 packs of Lagunitas Sucks for $8 last year...that's stupid cheap for 72oz of a badass DIPA

You need any THA or Westbrook by chance? I could find some more trade worthy beers around here as well.
