There is no shortage of great beers being consumed on this board by people from all areas of the country.

Part of what makes what we do so fun is trying beers that you have never tried before and aren't available in your area. Having online friends in different areas of the country helps make that possible. I would much rather try new beers all the time (even if I am disappointed as often as not) as opposed to drinking only Pliny every day.

I love trying new stuff too and thanks to the BXN I am not disappointed that often. 3BD is a Stone SSR.

Where does one find this beer? Does anyone sell it online?

I'm a big fan of porters and looking for new ones to try out.

FBD is a 2013 Parish Grand Reserve. Even better than the 2012!

Who drinks Pliny everyday? Its getting harder and harder to find and some places are place a single bottle limit.

BUT, even if I could drink it everyday...I would not. Variety is the spice of life!

The only place to buy it is at the brewery.

RR Shadow of a Doubt was a one off brew made earlier this year. I'd be surprised if it didn't come back.

Everett is made by Hill Farmstead in VT. They seldom bottle any longer and use growlers instead. You'll need to find a trading partner or be fortunate to have a local brewery that HF sent kegs to.

Other good ones are Edmund Fitzgerald, Founders Porter and Jose Marti.

I think Everett is the most bottled of their regular lineup. They have it on tap right now, but I know they had it available in bottles recently.

I happen to have a son who is a sophomore at RPI in Troy, NY. I am going to have him drive to Waterbury and pick me up a case of Heady Topper and then drive to Greensboro and pick me up some Hill Farmstead.

Only problem right now is that he's 19. He's not the only one who'll be excited when he turns 21.
