$8 can get you some fantastic stuff. Take a look at 7-20-4, Tatuaje Series P, Illusione, Cubanacan (especially the Soneros)

Most definitely. But like I said, based on the discussions here, I am not sure I can really taste differences.

I can taste "yuck" and "hmm I like this one," but beyond that, I think I'm lost.

Swartz did you ever seek out the Hermosa cigars? Boutique from LA. I've become fond of them.

In the end, that's all that matters.

So, I didn't with the weather today, but I'm gonna head to Habana Port tomorrow or Thursday. I'll buy you a stick if you're over there.

I need to pull my pipe out. It's a bit more work, so I tend to forget about it.

Heads up on this month's CI mailer. I just ordered the build your own. I traded the la Gloria's for the Padillas and kept everything else the same. Solid deal IMHO

Casa Magna Colorado Robusto. Got CA #1 position years back and was only $6 then--great steal.

Bolivar Cofradia is a great cigar in the mid range. I really like the #7544 with the Osuro wrapper(a legit 1 hr. smoke) the Maduro are good as well. This has become my go to cigar.

Heads up for this:

Rocky Patel vs The World

10 cigars for 29.99

What should I choose from the RP? The 90 or 92?

Liga Privada is a solid choice. Didn't recognize many of the alternatives, but there are some good cigars on both sides of the list that are reasonably priced.

A friend of mine hooked me up with Cigarfest tickets yesterday, it was pretty incredible. Met Rocky Patel, the dude running la Gloria cubana and a couple other interesting brand owners.

Here are some pics of what I came away with, ~120 cigars. Would highly recommend for those interested in cigars, the amount you come away with definitely makes the ticket more than worth it.

2 months worth. You have enough humidor space to store all those?

Two new cigars are populating my humidors lately.

Padilla Habano & La Perla Habana 1515 (500 Anos).

Both acceptable cigars that I didn't know a lot about, but I ask for a couple of new cigars every time I buy for a change.
