I am a fan of Cigar Factory. Their maduros are on point.

Haven't been to N.O. in a while but this is a solid smoke.
Last time I was in town I had just lit one of these up when our group decided to eat at this restaurant. I remarked that I just lit my cigar and didn't have a cutter. At the door an off-duty N.O. police officer took the cigar laid it on the window sill and cut the head off with his knife. He then handed me back the cigar and said, "enjoy your dinner".

Habana Port (right name?) was doing a Perdomo promo today. Picked up some Maduros. Pretty good!

La Perla Habana 1515

You guys have to try this stick. AJ Fernandez creation. It is a high end, stout, cigar smokers cigar, and an unbelieveably low cost given its quality.

Still new to cigars. New as in on a regular smoking buying level.
I've tried a good assortment of styles and brands lately.
I have a few Diesel unholy cocktails left that I really do enjoy a lot
My go to right now is HC black maduro. I like Maduros and I really enjoyed this one a while back. Even friends around it seemed to like this aroma compared to a few others. Found a pack of 20 for a buck sixty each shipped. Nothing fancy but I like
I haven't stepped into the 12 dollar and up club yet.
Once I run out of my 30 or so cigars I'll try a few brands I've been wanting to get into.

Brands are great, but may not be consistent.... too much for me to explain...but lots to do with warehouses and fumigation.

If you can, try a fresh hand rolled (done about 72 hours) OR SO PRIOR.
If just rolled, it will likely smoke "fast"

My partner in Dallas is a Cuban Government Certified Master Cigar Roller... I have been getting an education.
He had his own factory in Havana until he came over. 6 years ago.
