McCrady's for a fine dining experience.

The Ordinary for oysters and seafood (sit at the bar if you are too late for a reservation)

I've heard the best places are in North Charleston. Never been there myself, but you may want to check it out.

The weekend brunch at the Belmont is worth the price, and Poogan's Porch is a good dinner option, too, without breaking the bank.

Rarebit is a fun option that isn't mentioned often. Very reasonable prices and great cocktails, right in the middle of King Street. I'd also recommend Monza, would be a good lunch option. Definitely walk around King Street and stop somewhere for some drinks. Cocktail Club is an awesome option for good drinks.

Butcher and Bee has some amazing sandwiches.

Don't feel bad about missing out on Husk. I was there a few weeks ago and was thoroughly underwhelmed.

If you go to see the Angel Oak stop off at Stono Tomato Shed. Really good farm to table plate lunches.

Very good restaurant scene in Charleston. We have been there several times and are going back in October before the USCe game. One of our favorites is the Peninsula Grill. Delicious food and a nice atmosphere with a French Quarter style courtyard.

Amen is okay, nothing special. Pearlz has an awesome oyster happy hour. McCrady's is great if you're looking for fine dining. The Ordinary, more casual. Really casual, Leon's & Closed For Business. If you make it out to Sullivan's Island, The Obstinate Daughter is great.

Almost forgot about Leons. Love that place. Raw oysters and fried chicken.
