Anybody know of a restaurant/bakery making this? If so, where?

It's described as fresh bread stuffed with boudin and topped with inhouse cracklings and praline syrup! I plan on trying one.

Sounds like a good old fashioned boudin kolache that we've been eating around Houston for 10 years.

Haven't had the king cake but I've had boudin beignets from Social in Lafayette and they were delicious.
I've seen that Chris' specialty meats is selling the cakes.

Yep, Cafe des Amis in Breaux Bridge has been selling the boudin-stuffed beignets for years and they are legit -- combination of sweet and savory

The Cajun donut company in Lafayette. The owner used to own 3 Meche's franchises, but decided to rebrand and go on his own a few years ago. Really good, but a bit pricey

I'll try one if presented, but it doesn't sound great to me.

Make your own... Not much to it. Honestly better than expected!

Awesome thread, Boss. The result looked appetizing and delicious, which is more than I can say for the first and second place entries.

That sounds disgusting.

I'd rather a half pound of boudin and a real king cake for desert
