I am prepping for my excursion to the LSU/Wisconsin game. Two things I don't forget on road trips west of the MS: Dip and Cracklins.

Let me know your favorite places there and about I-10

If there is a place in BR with solid hot cracklins, lemme know. I'll go buy some today.

Bergerons in Port Allen

Good boudin balls too

Will also throw out Ronnie's off Florida Blvd, not as close to I10 though.

Billy's Boudin, Scott, La.

Get boudin, smoked boudin, boudin balls and cracklins.

Close to BR Bergerons does a great job.

Billys. Get some pepperjack balls while you're there.

How do they compare to the joint on Krott Springs.

Second Billy's. It's at the Scott exit. As mentioned try a pepperjack ball.

If you're concerned about your stomach, you should reconsider cracklins

Billy's. They have both seasoned and salt only cracklins.
