Cheap is defined as places that have an average entree price of about 20 bucks...

Acme?
Deanies?
Dragos?

All those places are bad. Tourist places. And Drago's is far from cheap for the quality of food.

Other shave have had great suggestions.

I would add Stanley and Cane & Table.

Also, get the F out of the Quarter.

Country flame had been in my back pocket for years now. Have you tried the Cuban? The service and ambience are enough to scare anyone but the food is legit.

Went there once. Food is cheap as hell. I recall it being a place I would go back.

Mona Lisa is small Italian place at 1212 Royal, it has a limited but expertly executed menu.
