SO and I are burger fanatics and want a great burger on Saturday night. We have been to Port of Call (my personal favorite in the City), Bud's Broiler, Company Burger (waaaaaay overrated IMO), etc.

What about the Beachcorner? Any other suggestions?

TIA

La Petite Grocery is number one for me.
Cowbell is an awesome second but not really close to surpassing LPG.

ETA balls post reminded me of Luke. I'd actually rank them slightly ahead of Cowbell.

But as for the best burgers:

LPG
Toups
Cowbell
Company
High Hat

If you like Port of Call, checkout Lakeview Harbor and Beachcorner.

Also, as others suggested, Cowbell, Company Burger, LPG and Hi Hat.

If you don't like company burger I don't know how you can call yourself a burger fan. I'd suggest cowbell though. Everything on their menu is killer really.

ignore the food snobs. typical place that becomes popular and locals turn their back on it just to be a contrarian because they are "too cool" for it

place makes a great burger. are there better in the city, IMO yes, but it doesnt mean port of call is a POS

Company Burger's Pimento burger was damn good. I need to try HiHat again and see how it holds up, it's been about six months for me.'

Sorry to highjack the thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.

Where would I go to get a burger with fried egg, pickles, ketchup, mustard, cheese, maybe another condiment? I haven't been to any of the top ones that have been suggested here.

Cowbell has a fried egg option, as well as some nice bacon.

also Barcadia.

the KGB burger. over easy egg with praline bacon.
