re: A young man that graduated with my son had 13 years perfect attendance - iwasthere
My oldest son had perfect attendance for 13 yrs also. It isn't that hard if you know what to do. They can miss school and have it excused with a doctors note and it is still considered perfect attendance. Shoot, he would miss when we would go on vacation, but I would submit a doctors note. Guess wha...

re: Need some help - iwasthere
So the pats can basically trade butler for say a sixth rounder to another team and butler would have to play for that other team for the 3.91 mil? I thought a new contract had to be worked out due to the tender he signed is only good with the pats? ...

Need some help - iwasthere
I need some help finding a post from here. A coworker is saying the Butler can be traded for his tender offer of 3.91 mil(or whatever it is). He said a team isn't required to negotiate a contract. I know there was a thread on it before and I am trying to find it. Thanks for the help. ...

re: Paying child support with joint custody - iwasthere
I recently went through this. This is in Jefferson Parish. My ex tried to get it where I got the kids every other weekend. This was shot down. We have joint custody, week/week. I am custodial of one and she is for the other. No child support, but everything else is split 50/50. It is easier for a gu...

re: How to not con black law students - iwasthere
He got a 155 and got into a top 8 school in the 2017 rankings. Smartest guy I know. Works for a top 10-15 firm and probably made $250k out the gate. Yep
What was the schools rank when he got in? Why list the 2017 rank if he went years ago?...

Questions about my modem - iwasthere
I have cox internet. I just started getting crappy speeds the last 2 days. Speedtest shows under 5 Mbps download. Of course cox says it must be my modem. They shot some signal that restarted the modem. I had great speed for about 5 minutes. When I go to 192.168.100.1 it only shows 2 upload channels....

re: How do you hard boil eggs? - iwasthere
I haven't real through the responses so mine might be a duplicate way. I put them in the pot and fill about an inch or two over the eggs with water and add 1/2 tsp salt. Bring to a rapid boil and then turn off the heat. Let them sit for about 13 minutes. Drain and run cold water over them to cool th...

Try to get to the 20 yr for the retirement. If you get severance, the VA will recoup that money eventually. So like another poster stated retirement > severance. ...

re: If we're going to go QB, we need to do it at 11 or 32 pick - iwasthere
I don't think we take a qb at 11. Now, the top guys including Mahomes, will be gone by 32. If they like him, we will have to trade up. ...

re: Malcolm Butler warming up to the idea of playing in New Orleans - iwasthere
The Pats, Saints, and Butler have leverage in this. Sure the Pats can try to ship him to Houston, but would Houston give up a 2nd if Butler won't sign long term? I don't think they would. So if butler really wants to play here, it could happen with a second or even a third. The Saints have no reason...

re: O-T Military, I have a question - iwasthere
Your way has him going active duty for however many years to be a veteran, then living in one of the states you mentioned for a year, then going to college. That is retarded. He can join the guard now, go tuition free to school in most states, go ROTC, then graduate and go active. So in the same tim...

re: O-T Military, I have a question - iwasthere
ROTC is a must for you. It is the smarter choice if you join. As far as the National Guard, some states you get tuition exemption from state funded schools, and some states do 75% tuition assistance up to a certain amount. USM is state funded so if Mississippi Guard does tuition exemption, then grea...

Their flyer only says dark shoes. It doesn't say black shoes. Brown can be considered dark. They specifically say dark gray or black suit. They should have been more specific with the shoe requirement. ...
