Any restaurants, breweries, and coffee shop recommendations while in Asheville?

So far, I definitely know I want to go to Burial and Sierra Nevada.

Wicked Weed funkatorioum?
New Belgium?
Green Man?
Pisgah?
Highland?
Asheville Brewing?

Any breweries or restaurants with great views?

Tupelo Honey for dinner. The food is fantastic.

If you get down to the "South Slope" area, the brew pubs are everywhere. The ones you listed are included. You can't go wrong bar hopping around there. Hi-Wire is another one you don't have listed. They're all good.

White Duck for tacos
Early Girl for breakfast/brunch
The Wicked Weed Funktorium is somewhere you ought to go. Food was pretty solid too.

Burial, Sierra Nevada, Wicked Weed Funkatorium, New Belgium, Asheville Brewing are where I went and recommend. Green Man is okay, most of their beers were pretty meh but none were straight up bad.

New Belgium has the best views and Sierra Nevada has the most badass taproom and outdoor space. Highly recommend both and if you go to NB get the Le Terroir on draft...

Burial and Wicked Weed have the best beers. I visited the funkatorium 2 or 3 times in 4 days.

Some restaurants:
-I 2nd White Duck for tacos.
-Red Ginger Dimsum and tapas
-Gan Chan Station, a noodle house. If you're staying downtown, youll want to uber or drive here.
-If you're into Indian, check out Chai Pani.

This place was great. Porky Bowl + get a side of country ham and mix it in there. Damn tasty.

The original Tupelo honey was great, not sure since they franchised if it’s gone down. But it was awesome about 6 years ago

I am a big beer geek and making a trip there next week.

We are hitting these breweries (can't miss):

WW Funk
Fonta Flora
Burial
Green Man
Highland

Anything else is lagniappe. Not a big fan of Sierra Nevada's beers with so many beter offerings in the area.

There are a lot of smalle

The brewery itself is really impressive. Also, SN beers there taste much better than the bottled stuff we get, that is usually 4-6 months old by the time we get them.

All of this. If you are in the area and doing a "beer tour", you're doing yourself a big disservice if you don't at least pay a quick visit Sierra Nevada, if for no other reason than to just see the remarkable facility they've built there. The beer there will be as good as a lot of the places you go, as well.

Buxton Hall for BBQ was a highlight for us. Right around the corner from Green Man.

There is a new feature just launched this weekend on TD where you can actually search, it is remarkable and revolutionary.

That certainly is your schtick. Thanks for doing all the work for me though.

I've been told that Webo's is the place to go in Asheville for BBQ?

Sierra Nevada is impressive because the place is so f-ing huge. And the taproom in there is great. That may have been the best meal we had on the trip. It's well worth swinging by, even if you aren't a fan of the place.

You do realize places open and close during the span of those posts. The first one I opened was dated 2015.
