Correct.
However, we miss most cases.
The IFR(infection fatality rate) is 0.5% or less I think.

This shite has rolled through N.O. in our "1st wave" now the rest of state.
Gonna drop now all the way to good ole herd status.
Pretty amazing a bunch of government employees thought they could stop a virus with no cure.

Great numbers. Great fricking numbers. Good to see

I don't think you understand the definition of Mortality Rate
"the number of deaths in a given area or period, or from a particular cause"

Well to be fair, a lot of these people left the hospital in a body bag....which isn’t a good thing.

Sure if you flatly ignore that we didn’t test like we did during the first, much more numerically significant spike.

No, they didn’t.

You have a Bonkers definition

Yeah and that's the reason it has dropped from almost 5% to 3.3%. The global mortality rate of those "that tested positive" is still around 3.8%

even if true (I'm only questioning the 'a lot' part)... the main point is the bed isn't immediately being refilled with another COVID patient
and that should only be seen as a positive thing

Death count is one of the largest delayed stat. They aren’t reported until a death certificate is reported to state. So the death could have been weeks ago but gets reported as a death today.

Doesnt matter. As long as hospitals have capacity.
Not about saving lives, about preventing hospitals from being overwhelmed

Did anybody hear about the feller dropping dead in the St Francisville post office yesterday? Apparently it was caused by covid because he had tested positive for it a while back.

Ha. No chance whatsoever. Opposite.
He will use this to show the “restrictions are working”.
We will be in Phase 2 throughout August.
