So will this serve as the official "What Will JBE Say" prediction thread?

This shite has rolled through N.O. in our "1st wave" now the rest of state.

Gonna drop now all the way to good ole herd status.

Coronabros will scream and holler until we are at zero cases though.

Just fine all around.

Seeing what maybe is the “death spike” from all the increased cases and hospitalizations. If so it will still lag a bit, but will plummet again in some time to match the hospitalization numbers.

How does this virus keep finding 2000 people every day that haven’t caught it yet?

Peak was 7/19-7/20

There will be only a handful of cases in a month.

There is a case to be made that this “wave” was mostly due to increased testing, contact tracing, and repeating testing. As well as patients filling up hospitals again and asymptomatically testing positive. The true bump in cases was likely very very small.

Of course JBE will give credit to his perfectly timed mask order

I would bet AT LEAST 25% of these are duplicates (same people testing over and over to finally get a negative).
