Thought about putting Key but Key belongs more with OLB because he had his best year last year

Eric Hill at LB in the 1980's was always solid. Would stop you in your tracks if you were a RB.

Also, people forget that one of the best DB's /LB's to EVER put on an LSU uniform was Billy Cannon. He might have been a better defensive player than an offensive player. He was a MAN.

Any list that doesn't have Craig Loston is automatically disqualified.

I haven't forgotten about Webster. He was pretty good in college, but he wasn't Claiborne or White. If you remember, he switched from WR to CB. Cliaborne and White locked down an entire side of the field for a combined 7 years.

You clearly have forgotten about Webster.

Amen I have been watching LSU football since 1971 and Michael Brooks was the most dominant defensive player I have ever seen on an LSU defense........Bar None

I know we've had some great safeties, but Landry was a 3 time All American, and the "off-year" was the leading tackler on 2003 title team as a freshman......
He HAS to be on the list

Any all time LSU "D" that doesn't have Ronnie "Crocket" Estay on it is garbage.

Wild to think they all played together. Webster was great, but I think Claiborne was better in college.

+ Eric Reid

Sports Science said the avg 40 of those DBs were faster compared to the NFL avg of DBs.

No Tyrann Mathieu? Come on. He was a better college player than either Peterson or Claiborne.

So you left off the only true sophomore to ever win the Bednarik award?
The only true sophomore to ever win the SEC DPOY?

FOR MO Claiborne?
There are 5 names you can never leave off an alltime lsu defense.
Brooks,Northern,Dorsey,PP and TM7.
