I believe he played corner and safety at LSU and he also played rb. He was 2nd on the team in rushing his sophmore year. I believe he was a 4.5 40 and in 1972 that was elite speed in the NFL

KiwiHead is right Eric Hill was a killer for the running backs . He needs to be on the list and Cannon could do it all .

I wish Trev Faulk didn't leave early for the NFL. He was crazy athletic.

Him and Bradie James next to each other at LB would have been amazing to watch.

Because what DE should he play over on?

I guess you can replace him with Hill. Northern was a beast in '94& '95, no doubt.
Marquise was my boy so I threw him on the list. Plus he wasn't too shabby either.

"Craig Steltz>Landry > Adams"

Steltz was a great college player - indeed, an All-American - but I would like to hear your thinking on this one.

Lost him too soon.

Northern is the only lsu player with 2 seasons in the top 10 alltime single season sacks list and he is 3rd alltime in sacks.

He had 8 sacks and 13 TFL his last year. Mingo had 4.5 sacks and 8.5 TFL. Montgomery was first team All-SEC in 2011 and 2012, and an AA in 2011. Mingo was a 2nd team All-SEC player in 2011 and 2012 and was never named an AA.
