I'd say you're a prick for being critical of something so fricking petty.
Sorry you are okay with that and it's just 'petty' to you.

OP is damned lucky he didn't win a trip in an ambulance to have a fork removed from his eyeball.

I know how she holds her fork. I hold my fork the same way. Somebody in college pointed it out and I felt like a fricking idiot. I still hold my fork that way.
Keep this in mind though: you're actually making fun of the way she holds other guy's cocks. That's why she took it so personal.

Her parents should be tied up and beaten for letting that behavior progress past infanthood. How did you ever make it to a second date? Just the thought of a future family reunion would give me the shivers.

Does she cook?
You better apologize.....

i've had to instruct two different Gfs on how to apply deoderant. Didn't go well either time. I thought I learned my mistakes the first time and approached differently the second...same result.
Apparently, they do'nt put the deo on immmediately because thy don't want to get it on their clothes when they change into 417 outfits trying to determine which is best for that exact moment in time. Well during this process, they start sweating before they put the deo on.
It istn't until 6 hours later does that twinge of onion juice start to get ripe when they hug you in bed.

Why ruin a perfectly good day? Like some of the other posters said, why not wait until you are fighting and toss it in?
That said, have an upvote. Just read all ten pages and this thread has delivered.

Seems like this should've been detected early, like first or second date stuff. You were probably too desperate for secks to notice though. Your fault, can't bring it up this long after the fact.

Oh yeah, if you stay with her the stuff y'all will fight about in 5 years will make you look back and this and wish you were fighting about tanglible things that made sense again.

OP... I agree with you. Both of you should represent the other, in public, as well-mannered individuals. Holding a fork right should not be something that's too much to ask. It would drive me fricking insane, honestly.
Your SO should handle a little coaching in this much better than she does. You're not wrong.
But always remember what Dale Brown said. Whenever you point a finger at someone, expect many more pointing back at you. You batter make sure your manners and public image are super sharp, because I guarantee she will look for the opportunity to come at you over it.
That's why you need to bring up these things very gently with people, as though you are genuinely interested in helping them, and not just telling them to change something for your benefit.
Good luck.

What you said:
What she heard:
Good luck.
quote:
. I told her that I wanted to talk to her about how to properly hold a utensil for when we go to restaurants in teh future.

I need you to act differently so you don't embarrass me in public.
