I cooked for a girl on the second date years ago and she cut her steak like how you're describing; a neanderthal. Hooked up for a bit but it never went anywhere. Sure the holding of the utensils annoyed me, but she had way deeper issues. Hope this doesn't help.

I think it is an age thing. When I was young I ditched them like Sinefeld. When I got older and got married and observed my friends married lives, I saw some truly hard times that people have to deal with. This isn't one. But I ditched girls for much less, when I was young.
