Pretty impressive, huh?

Hightower is so great!! He was better than Ingram last year!!

Even though he had a worse ypc, overall grade, and allowed more hits and sacks!

That's the point....

He's just doing enough to stay on the team, yet he's the starting running again.

Just on game days mainly. I probably agree with 95% of what you post.

I don't always approve of your all-argument/all-the-time style, but I respect your line-by-line fact checking.

Very respectable arguing.

The easiest way to tell if a Saints fan knows absolutely nothing about the team or the sport is to ask them what they think of Mark Ingram. If it is negative I don't bother listening to anything they have to say.

How many other NFL team do you jackasses think Mark Ingram would start for? 3?, 4?..... 5 TOP.

He's a mediocre NFL back.

All of those guys, and I believe Ivory, were on the roster when we traded a first round and second round pick for Ingram. A running back. Loomising.

We don't screen for him like we did for those guys because this team no longer has the quality of guards we used to.

This is true, however Pierre Thomas was uncommonly good at running the screen. There is a certain amount of deception and timing required to excel at running a screen. You have got to let the pulling guards work and know when to hit the gas. Pierre just had that. It was beautiful to watch.

These are sunk costs. the question now is can we afford to draft or acquire another back to better the position? He does understand the offense and helps protect Drew, which is key in this offense.

Loomis is the king of sunk costs.
