They will defend Mark until he's off the team. I like the guy, but he's average at best. There's no special thing he does well, and no physical attribute that stands out. Many on here want to like him because he's a Saint. To be honest, that's the only reason I root for him during the games, but I rather see someone in the backfield with more speed/vision.

We don't screen for him like we did for those guys because this team no longer has the quality of guards we used to.

Where are my 4th and 1 stats this year? Why aren't you talking about this year, wow 4.6 yards last year doesn't do us much good this season. Team friendly restructured deals don't hide the fact that he still makes $4 mill, you're focused on the cap hit- which is important, but he's still getting paid. Missing 4 games las year didn't change the fact that we used a more stable approach last year, numbers don't lie man.

Some of you completely ignore these stats don't you?
quote:

his 59.4 elusive rating was seventh in the NFL among qualifying backs, and his 2.9 yards after contact per attempt was the fifth-highest mark in the league.

He's not elite but he's certainly much better than average.

The LSU/Bama BS is over stated, Ingram is an "ok" back. That Emmitt Smith boat has long sailed.

Ingrams cap hit

you have 20 backs that have a higher cap hit than Ingram. If you are really bitching about his money then I dont even know what to tell you.

Wasn't that from last year? Kyrie Robinson had a great elusiveness rating while here as well.

OMG Thank You, because I have LSU by my name we get to play assumptions. Like I said- give me Lacy/Yedlin/Henry. Give me Jones/Cooper- when you're a pro I don't care. Ingram is a cancer, we traded up and traded away for this failure and he's on the team so Sean and Mickey don't have to admit yet another HUGE bust.
Add this guy to the long list of Saints draft busts, because he SUX, not because of where he went to school. Great argument though guys!

So are you the one paying him? Then why do you care how much he makes unless its the cap hit which directly effects the team?

I don't think Robinson even played enough to be among the qualifiing players. He also didn't play well his last season here.

Why don't you look them up and try and actually support your retarded claims

quote:

Why aren't you talking about this year

Because we haven't been in a position to run the ball much this season.

Seriously, are you watching the games?

quote:

Team friendly restructured deals don't hide the fact that he still makes $4 mill, you're focused on the cap hit- which is important, but he's still getting paid.

awesome logic

Let me help you out: Hightower had 12 carries before Ingram was injured.

Ingram is the epitome of a C- type of player

Doing just enough to keep himself on the team
