Now he can shop himself around to whoever he wants. Not worried for him, he will find a place on a roster.

They gave him every chance but he never improved. Granted the Titans had the worst offensive line in football but he did not help himself. The knock on him was he could not get rid of the ball quick enough.

Hate to lose him but maybe a better fit somewhere else.

No they didn't. They put a statute behind an offensive line that couldn't block anybody. Then they drafted Mariota. Not sure how they gave him every chance.

Proof that LSU should not have won every game that year with Odell and Landry.

really poorly handled by the Titans. He was a bad fit due to their poor OL but he actually had some value when they drafted Marriotta so instead of recognizing their offense is headed in a different direction and trading ZM for at least SOMETHING they sat on him until they waived him for nothing.

He'll latch on somewhere and have a good career - maybe not as a starter but still a solid NFL career.

Everyone saw this coming. He hadn't showed anything to justify keeping him on the roster, and Mariotta is clearly the future there.

New Orleans is crazy if they don't bring him in!

I love Mett but I always laugh when a LSU player is cut or isn't living up to potential it's always the teams fault, not the players.

Bad system, bad line, bad coach, etc.

He could be a decent backup in New England.
