re: My biggest fear about CFP has come true! - The Eric
Penn State had two losses...one a blowout loss. Ohio State's schedule looked more impressive to me as one of the best teams in the country. PSU didn't have the depth to compete with Alabama because they're still recovering from sanctions.
Those 2 losses were in the first 4 games ...

re: Official Walking Dead S07E06 "Swear" Thread - The Eric
This may go down as the worst episode ever. An entire episode devoted to a tier 2 character that no one cares about. I forgot she even existed. ETA: an all female camp. Because we know that's realistic. ...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
The head coach has to recruit players that can execute and hire the coaches responsible for ensuring that they will execute. I hate the "players didn't execute" argument, even though it might not be fairly applied to O as an interim coach.
I think that anyone looking from the out...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
Dude. Don't take it personally. Orgeron is a huge question mark. Maybe he has learned from his Ole Miss stint. But that's going to be a difficult image to shed. I'm not confident in him but I will support the tigers in every game and by default support Orgeron. I'd feel much better if we would h...

Harris blew it against Miss State in 2014. The last play of the game was supposed to be a touchdown but he didn't complete it. ...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
Seems reasonable. After we make all these corrections we will be the winningest program in NCAA history. Maybe now we can sway Herman or Fisher or even JT Curtis. ...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
We should have a running list of games we lost but we actually won because it wasn't the coaches fault the player messed up. We'd have a trophy case full of titles. ...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
Maybe the playoff committee will take into consideration the fact that we are undefeated in games where players haven't blown the game. Our head coaches are undefeated. It's our players who lose. ...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
Clearly a coach should never be fired because it always comes down to the players messing up. Not once is it ever the coaches fault. We were gonna win the Wisky game but Harris there the pick. We were gonna win against Auburn but we didn't snap the ball in time. We were gonna beat Bama but t...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
We've discussed this. Guice blew this. Not Orgeron
We were in the redzone 5 times. We scored twice. That's on the head coach. On the goal line at the end we ran 4 straight times. On the drive we scored the field goal, on 3rd down every route we ran was short of the goal li...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
Like I said. We have no other choice but to give him a shot. Clearly we have no say in the matter. Our AD would rather have a few good story in the media than do what is necessary for long term success. We can look at Saban and call him a dick but that's what it takes to win. ...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
It's not a bad attitude. As I said, we will clearly support Orgeron and hope for the best. But you are going to be let down. I just hope that we have a new AD by that time who won't cave to the media and the uneducated masses and do what is best for the LsU program. ...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
were going to obviously give Orgeron a chance. Since there really isn't an alternative. I pray we can bump this thread every year for the rest of all time to laugh at how stupid we all look. But it's more likely we will bump it to remember how we all called it perfectly. ...

re: Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time? - The Eric
There is a reason Orgeron wasn't getting a job as a HC at any other job, and it wasn't because the mother schools were too busy hiring guys who "sound like locals". He's a nice guy. Good recruiter. Poor head coach. If we kept Miles our record would likely look the same. ...
