Shep...

I once saw him drain like 9 3pt shots in a row in the most violent pick-up game in history. If only Nutso wouldn't have jumped/fallen off that roof..

Andrew Bynum could have been a beast for someone if he wasn't such a headcase.

Those idiots (including his agent) demanded he just straight from HS to MLB with no minor leagues.

Now a cautionary tale - won't happen again

Doc Gooden and Tyson?

Both did enough...and Tyson's potential was slim and none after he got figured out and Cus died and the fear factor went away...anyone with a long jab owned him from Buster Douglas to Holyfield to Lewis to tomato cans...

Tyson took the greatest advantage of that moment in time in the totally empty HW division and used fear and intimidation to fool opponents over his skill - as Teddy Atlas who actually trained him said - "Tyson is all bully, all hype, two-round skill - you get him to later rounds and he will quit because he doesn't have it....the real it."

And when he bit Holyfield's ear, Atlas said - "I knew it was going to happen because Tyson will do anything to get out of a fight he knows he can't win. He DQ'd himself on purpose."

Tyson got BY FAR - the most out of his limited potential. He was short, small and had a terrible jab. When he got found out - he sucked balls.

Tracy McGrady. Didn't practice hard, and didn't take care of his body.

A good player who should have been great was Anfernee Hardaway. Dude should be a hall of famer with the potential he had.
