It's absurd to judge QBs by team results, he was terrible this year and won it.

Peyton Manning has 5 MVPs. He was the best player of his generation and changed the way the position is played. He holds all the important records for his said position and as done it with multiple coaching staffs. 5 MVPs means he was almost the MVP for 1 out of every 3 season he was healthy.

How this is even a discussion is mind boggling.

It was settled in 2004 and it wasn't Manning.

Trent Dilfer is in that same league.

10 active quarterbacks alone have higher career playoff passer ratings than Brady. He's below average in the playoffs and he's not even old and injured like Manning...so he has no excuse except he's a choker

How many of them have been to 32 playoff games in their career? Your rating goes down the more games you play.

Why don't the other 15 have at least 4 Superbowl rings? Oh that's right...Belichick didn't coach them every snap of their careers.

Trent Dilfer road his defense to a Super Bowl championship in 2000. Peyton Manning did the same in 2015. I was simply replying to your insinuation that this accomplishment is somehow unique.

Belichick was 2-14 in 2000 without Brady. He's been the winningest coach in football ever since Brady took over at QB for the Patriots.

How does 16th all time equate to an average QB rating?

No you dumbshit. If you choose to not judge a Qb by team accomplishments, which you shouldn't, it puts Manning in a league of his own and nobody else in this generation can touch him. The only argument you can make for Brady is a dumb team stat

A QB who goes 18-20 for 302 yards and 3 TDs in his lone playoff appearance is going to have a better rating than a QB who has played in 32 different post-season games.
