re: Who is the best player in the SEC? - BhamDore
Bamas defensive backfield has been its weakest unit for years. And not that great more often than not. Bama fans have even admitted this if you trick them by saying how historically awesome their front 7 has been.
Just because Bama's secondary hasn't been other wordly like it's D-...

re: So you guys think Devin White is a 1st team All-American level LB? - BhamDore
Oooook..... Devin White will be drafted higher than any linebacker on Bamas roster or A&M's roster.
This is dumb. Bama has so many Linebackers that will be drafted highly right now. You have no idea how high White will be drafted he could get hurt ,fail a drug test, or do somethi...

re: "Gus gave LSU the game" myth - BhamDore
Auburn had better players and won up front on both lines of scrimmage. LSU had better coordinators and got the favorable calls. Auburns O-LINE pushed LSU 4 or 5 yards off the ball and GUS would not play action or throw anything intermediate. Once LSU brought the safety down to stop the run it's ...

re: Devin White or Minkah Fitzpatrick? - BhamDore
Alabama is in the top 10 in country and #1 in SEC in 3rd down conversion % defense. LSU athletes have way more opportunities to rack up stats. They don't get off the field. Alabama also has twice as many high level defensive players so there are only so many opportunities to make plays....

re: This is the softest LSU team I've every seen. - BhamDore
Moffitt is past his prime. They are not as talented as in the past either. They are somewhere between MSU and Ole Miss when it comes to talent in the West. Definitely behind Bama, Auburn, and Aggie. ...

Aranda is awful. - BhamDore
LSU talent level is also pretty low. No talent on offense or defense. They are probably 4 or 5th in the west from a talent stand point....

re: TV media rights bubble isn't about to pop. NBA $225m to show games online in Japan - BhamDore
They will just supplement the loss from major network deals with secondary deals with Amazon, Twitter, Yahoo, Google/YouTube, Netflix etc. The big internet and streaming companies will pay. American sports culture is insatiable....

re: Why is Alabama considered the best job in the SEC? - BhamDore
Better recruiting advantages but not better jobs.
No program has better recruiting advantages than Bama. Bama literally can go into any state in the South and be a serious contender for any top prospect. Tuscaloosa is slap in the middle of the entire SEC foot print. Bama is in ...

re: Why is Alabama considered the best job in the SEC? - BhamDore
Gene Stallings won 28 games in a row. Saban' hasn't even won 28 games in a row. Mike Debose Beat Steve Spurrier's Florida team twice in one year and won the SEC. Fran Beat Nick Saban' LSU team 31-0 and won 10 games back when 10 wins meant something. Mike Shula beat the shite out of Urban ...

re: Who is middle class? Their income is lower than you might think - BhamDore
I do buy a lot of electronics it's my one vice. I usually sell my previous phone, but I usually get 2 or 3 cellphones every year. I buy a lot of unnecessary connected home crap I really don't need. Life is just expensive and working for only mere survival honestly doesn't feel like a life worth ...

re: Who is middle class? Their income is lower than you might think - BhamDore
Real estate and rent are expensive here. 300k to 400k house doesn't buy what it used to. We didn't buy until 2016 which was about 2to 3 years too late. fricking daycare is ridiculous though. You can't avoid it if you don't live near any family. 1100 dollars a month for 1 child is robbery. It's n...

re: Who is middle class? Their income is lower than you might think - BhamDore
Most middle class people in America are poor and mired in debt. If you have student loans, rent/mortgage, car payments, daycare/after school activities etc. 60k between 2 people is not enough to live a quality life in America. My wife and I make a little over 130k in Nashville and I would say we ...
How do you know that? Wilbon could be in hock to his eyebrows. There is an obscene amount of NFL players who burn through every penny and go busted soon after retirement.
NFL players for the most part are not financially literate. Wilbon is an award winning columnist from a pre...

I think you are uninformed about what the guys who are serious about the protests are doing to help their communities and people in need. The fake outrage over the protest is just distraction. Kudos to those who love the status quo they were successful in changing the narrative of what the prot...

Your reading comprehension is awful. My post was alluding to leverage. Employers can discipline or fire who they want. Lots of times they don't when you're not easily replaced. When you are among the best at what you do, you have leverage in what you are allowed to do or get away with. If you hav...

re: Now ESPN's Michael Wilbon is comparing NFL team owners to slaveowners - BhamDore
I think people are worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Americans are willing to pay ridiculous amounts for sports entertainment. The owners took the initial risk by putting up the funds for the league, and they have been rewarded tremendously. The players are the actual talent and risk their h...
Pro sports salaries need a major market correction.
They generate billions of dollars and negotiate close to 50% of revenue. Do you mean they need to not make as much so they are easier to control? The ruling class would like to keep everyone poor so they are forced into obedien...
