A QB who goes 18-20 for 302 yards and 3 TDs in his lone playoff appearance is going to have a better rating than a QB who has played in 32 different post-season games.

Do all QBs go 18 for 20 for 302 yards and 3 TDs in their lone playoff performance?

What if a QB goes 10 for 27 for 140 yards and 2 INTs in his lone playoff performance.

FWIW, the notion that your QB rating goes down the more games you play, there's no basis for it.

The only argument you can make for Brady is a dumb team stat

That and he's Top 5 in every major statistical category with inferior talent around him. Manning has always had weapons to work with at Indy and in Denver. Brady's (arguably) best receiver in his career has been a tight end. Despite this he continues to put up incredible numbers.

So it's actually above average, gotcha.

Were you hoping no one would call you out on that lie?

FIFY

If you wanna double down on stupid and say Brady was the reason the Pats won those first super-bowls go right ahead. We'll all just sit back and laugh at you.

No. I was hoping readers could actually grasp the obvious context of this thread

Brady passed for over 350 yards in his second Super Bowl appearance and almost 250 yards in his fourth. How exactly did he not contribute to those wins?

You claimed it, feel free to prove it right...until then it's just silliness that you made up, and only made worse by your nonsense 18 of 20 thing, that made no sense at all.

This is what happens when you teach white people words like GOAT. They use it all wrong.

At least THIS SB he stayed on the field til the final whistle. Last one, he left early.

In all honesty, this game and post-season should have no bearing on Manning's legacy - as even all pundits said before the game...

Because they were worried Manning would lay an egg...and he did.

This is a Trent Dilfer SB - nothing to further Manning into the HOF - he was already there. But this was a Denver Broncos defense championship run and Denver might have won more easily with Brock.

Bingo. He certainly didn't play well enough to warrant this boosting his all time greatness.

But being old and broken down, I also wouldn't think its fair to knock him for it.

Didn't help, didn't hurt IMO.

And FWIW, Peyton basically had the same exact game as Cam tonight, eerily similar.

Alex Smith has a better playoff passer rating than Brady and Manning both. The same thing goes for Mark Sanchez. The stat is irrelevant.

I don't think you really understand what you said, if that's your answer.

But go ahead and keep thinking QBs randomly play their best games first and worst games later in their playoff careers. You honestly think that makes sense?
