And pep boys just told me that I need entire new set. Had road hazard insurance and they say there's nothing they can do.

BFG should give you some kind of prorated warranty if you want to get another set of their 20K mi tires for a small discount.

Are they worn out or what? If they aren't bad then do what 90% of people would do and ignore their advice.

Was having severe vibration. Thought may be an alignment or balance issue. They say it's the tires.

Try rotating them next time.

Tires are warranties up to a certain % of tire tread. Sounds like PepBoys doesn't want to handle the warranty paperwork...which is a mf btw.
eta: if you failed to keep tires properly rotated (every 5-6k miles) then you're effed.

Your tires could be balder than Michael Jordan and your car could not vibrate. It's something other than the tires and the Pep Boy is about to go in raw

Did they tell you how they were worn?
Posted on 12/11/15 at 4:11 pm to Gr8t8s
Is it consistent? You get the vibration if the tires or cold or hot?

How often did you have tires rotated during that 20k mile span?

Other htan for a warranty, rotation has nothing to do with his issue. IDK why people think that.
