Current boss is a pocket knife collector, I still have not developed enough to keep one for the duration required to purchase a good one.

The only times I'll ever rotate my tires is if something gets changed with my suspension and they start wearing unevenly. I got around 80k out of one set, 65k on one, 45k on one, 40k on one, 50k on another one, and 48k on my last set. The reason for the discrepancy is Tacomas vs F250 vs 2500HD and that ranged from all terrains to Swampers. Never rotated any of them except last set on the 2500HD because I have a 55 gallon fuel tank on one side.

I agree with

but

It's mostly a over 50mph issue.

vibration issues related to certain speeds are typically balancing issues from my experience.

Yep 55-65 is where I try to get to to see if it is balance.

Another question to the op, are they loud, for example do they sound like big 4x4 tires.

I'm going with effed up tires.

Since you rotated, the fronts probably have an issue as well.

Take the car to a tire shop that sells Goodrich. It's the manufacturer that honors the warranty, not the individual shop.

And 61K, the suspension is probably fine.

That's actually what the manager ended up telling me. He said, don't ever let someone sell you BFGs unless you're willing to baby them and rotate every 3000, etc.

I said.....you guys sold them to me. He was like, well, I apologize for that. He offered me 2 $160/Ea. Tires for $85/ea.

Find the date on the tires. They are coded. You'll have to input them in a search engine to help read the date of build. They may have been sitting in pep boys warehouse for a few years. That shite happens a lot.

Google sears and old tires they sold for new. Some of them were sitting for 7 years before they were sold and had catastrophic failure

Edit: they should be on inside of the tires. Maybe ghy have to get under car and look

Usually a 4 digit number on the sidewall. For example, 2815 means they were made the 28th week of 2015 IIRC.

I had defective Michelins on the Vette. Cord showing after 15K.

It happens.

Yep.

Bought a used truck. Guy said tires were just over a year old. They wore like shite. Had to replace them in a year. Looked at date compared to his receipt and they were several years old when he bought them. They were Firestone destinations.

I've had like 6 sets of BFGs... All awesome. One tire wore early and my buddy's shop swapped it out and had bfg reimburse him. The shops can do it. They have to file the paperwork

I had TWO sets of Bridgestone Duelers do that on my sequoia. I finally found out from online research that the particular model tire was comfortable as hell but never lasted much past 30k. Gordon and Sandifer sold me both. Not their fault. Next brand I went with Yokos for 100 cheaper and lasted 50k and plenty left when I traded it in.

Kumho Tires from TireRack.com or DiscountTire.com. Best value/performance you're going to find.

Depends on how you drive. That would be about right for the Mrs. She hits corners on two wheels. We get about 1/2 the tire mileage on her vehicles.

Maybe it's different for trucks but I bought Goodrich All terrains for my Silverado and they lasted 70K. I rotated them once. Great handling tire, never lost air.

Replaced them with another set of course. Got 20K on this latest set and look brand new, no rotation yet.

5K rotation? That's madness. On a race car maybe.
