Should I see this in 2d,real 3d, or Imax 3d (although I doubt Clearview is true Imax)?

Go for Imax for the screen size and sound quality. For better or worse, I didn't even notice the 3D midway through the film.

I don't think we have an AMC Prime.

IMAX would probably be best, I was really satisfied with 2D

3d in imax was pretty good (and i normally don't care for 3d). i will be seeing the 70mm in 2d later this week, but i am happy i chose the 3d imax experience for my first viewing.

there is one one shot in the film of a ship that is pretty stunning in 3d.

I have yet to see this movie, and it is killing me. Having a one year old and visiting family since Thursday has prevented me from going.

Hopefully I'll be able to go in the next day or two. I feel like I'm exponentially increasing my risk of hearing spoilers with each day that goes by.

Saw it in 3D last Thursday, but after seeing it again in 2D, I think 2D was better, those 3D glasses are uncomfortable anyway, IMO. I'm still curious as to whether JJ did in fact insert a glimpse of the bones of Jar Jar in one of the flying shots over Jackuu. He said something about doing that a long time ago, and I haven't seen or heard about whether he did it or not.

I feel for you. We saw it twice.

Great both times. Can't wait to see it again already.

IMAX 3D all the way. Worth it just for the IMAX audio.

Overall as a movie I enjoyed it. Abrams did a very good job and it was enjoyable. As a huge Star Wars fan I have quite a few issues with it. Definitely worth seeing though.

does anyone know if there are any streams available for the movie?

I feel like watching it tonight but don't need another letter from cox about my pirating habits.
