I alway think it's funny when people list positive qualities of a city and one of the top things is that it close to cities that have more to offer

North of Morgan City is nice. Plenty of access to the water. The Stevensville area in particular.

Thats not crazy, IMO. I would never want to live in BR again, but there are reasons I go and maybe once a year I have a reason to go to Nola. Proximity is a good thing.

overrated: Baton Rouge
One traffic accident on the Mississippi River Bridge and the interstate system is shut down. What was sad was when the propane tanker was leaking on I-10 by the split and half the city was shut down.
Years ago North Baton Rouge anything North of Greenwell Springs Road. The line is quickly moving more South. Florida and Sherwood is now considered by some North Baton Rouge. I can see why with all the crime and the empty commercial buildings.

Baton Rouge is overrated. It's so bad that I travel down hwy 90 from Lafayette to NOLA when going in town just to avoid that shite show.
