Pick the 5 best Dishes you have had in New Orleans and where to get them.... I will be in town next week and want input on the 5 must have dishes in the New Orleans area.

Central Grocery Muffaletta & a tall boy from Sidney's. Both on Decatur Street. You can dine with the gutter punks on the stoop.

You could also try the veal @ Irene's if ya'll wanted to do a little steppin' out.

Fried oysters at Casamento's
Roast beef poboy at sammy's
Muffuletta @ either Central Grocery (room temp) or Napolean House (warm)
Something from Lilette, Gautreau's, Herbsaint, or August

My list could change in an hour, really.

Cochon Butcher - Sweet and Spicy Brisket sliders is what I think they were called. Not sure if they have them all the time though.

Besides those:

-Margherita pizza from Oak Oven
-Shrimp poboy from Koz's
-Pork chop from Hillbilly BBQ
-Tortilla Soup from The Ridge Bistro.
-Carne Asada from Taqueria Corona.
