Chili. Chili cheeseburgers. Chili dogs and a nip or 4 of Charter round the ole fire place. It's cold out there.

Seafood gumbo, I hope.

Started making stock with shrimp shells and heads earlier this afternoon. Got distracted by work and cooked all the liquid out and "over browned" what was left in the pot.

Started over, but using a combination of gumbo crabs, lobster base and one container of seafood stock (from a box). Hope to still get some nice depth of flavor. We shall see.
