Tadich Grill has the best cioppino I've ever eaten. I still think about it. Cool spot.

My first suggestion is to spend as little time near your hotel as possible. Go to the ferry terminal, especially if you can make the farmers market on Saturday. Tadich and Sam's are great old school San Francisco seafood joints. Perbacco, Acquerello, A16, Spqr, Incanto for Italian. R&G, Cityview, Yank sing for Chinese. Chapeau, fleur de lys, la folie, RN74 for French. Blvd, Prospect, Zuni, Nopa, Range for CA cuisine.

agree on the farmers market. that is a bad arse way to spend a morning. all the food trucks are out and restaurants from all over town have booths set up... Hell I got some fresh made cheese from a sonoma vendor

Go to Tonys pizza in little Italy

Wife and I loved it. Great food and even better environment. Got a bottle of wine and was awesome

Highly recommend it

Lot of people in my office love that place.

Ferry building on Saturdays is bomb.

Off the Grid at Fort Mason on Friday night has like 30 or so food trucks.
