It's always on the NYT list of best cheap eats in New York but the one in Shreveport is disgusting. Maybe they're better up north or maybe New Yorkers have shitty tastes. Five Guys blows it out of the water.

I've had it a few times in NOLA and thought it was pretty decent

Shake Shack blows Smash burger out the water.

I've been to two Smash burgers and they both were underwhelming. The one in NO flat out sucks and is a bad addition to magazine street. They attract the type of customers who litter.

I have never been to Smashburger but my one trip to Five Guys was lame. I felt like I paid triple the price for a Wendy's burger and a enough soggy fries to feed a village. For a couple of bucks more and not hating myself later: Company Burger, Luke, Cowbell, etc. Hell, I thought NO Seafood & Hamburger was decent and priced identical to 5 Guys (NOLA Area)

It's a burger

Meat, bread, cheese, fixins.

Not that hard.

I agree 100% with your 100% disagreement. I'm excited to get Twisted Root up here soon - never had it, but it sounds great.

I completely agree. While I don't dislike it quite as much as you. It has no business being on that strip of Magazine.

I find Smash to be an adequate burger. It's not the best, not he worst, not the most expensive or the cheapest.

It is still just a fast food burger chain, although I find it to be the best that I've had, even over the beloved In & Out.

Do most of the stores have drive through? I've only been to the one in NOLA, and it's a sit in or take out.

I've had a decent burger there, I just don't give much thought to burger joints.

you have to have a drive-thru to be considered fast food?

No, I think if something is already prepared before I order it, it's fast food. The 2 times I've been, it has taken me about 10 minutes to receive the food. I "assume" it is because they are throwing the burger on the skillet at that time.

What is the specific definition of Fast Food?
