Yeah. I remember watching him in the McDonald's all American game coming out of high school. He was (and is) one of the greatest passers I've ever seen.

Bobby Hurley was a great passer too. It's a shame he got injured early on in his NBA career

Kidd was one of my favorites growing up. I liked watching him better than Stockton. It just seems like his career has dragged on and he hasn't gotten the recognition he deserves. He carried those Nets teams to two consecutive Finals. He finally got his title as a Mav, and nobody was even talking about it.

I'd put him up there with Stockton, Thomas, and Magic as one of the all time great distributors.

No

Three reasons...
It's not just based on NBA
They restrict class size
They have international and woman included in class

The restricted class size is going to be the biggest hindrance; unless he retires with a host of all timers, he's in on the first ballot (unlikely unless he plays until Garnett-Pierce-Duncan leave the league at the same time)-- but that's a long shot to happen.

I think he's a Hall of Famer, but also vastly overrated- I can think of at least a half dozen PGs in the past 30 years that were clearly better-- Glove, Stockton, Magic, Isaiah , Nash, Parker, and several more that will have arguments before its said and done.

He's done himself a huge favor by reinventing his game on the fly, and remaining a viable NBA player while racking up counting stats.

Paul Pierce ahead of Jason Kidd? I strongly disagree with that

Pierce has one thing Kidd doesn't right now but Kidd is unbeaten in international play, which is huge.
