Edna Valley Cab (2011 - the 2009 is infintely better).

Started at 5 and finished at 9. Cooked and ate while drinking.

Good night, or horrible drunkard?

fricking lush. Your momma would blush and skip church for two weeks if this shite gets out around town. Go wash your filthy mouth out with soap in hopes that some of it cleanses your alcohol addled brain.

If you are going to drink a whole bottle on a Monday you need to improve your collection.

I had an 08 David Arthur Cab Franc. Opened at five, tasted and let sit until dinner at six. Had a small flank steak and a small Caesar salad to go with it. It was a much different wine an hour later.

Good night. Not horrible drunkard. Food and wine are the essence of life. Enjoy.

It's sad to see a winery as legendary as David Arthur not hold up to its former prestige. The 08 franc was overly tannic and ripe in flavors. When Egelhoff was there the wines would sing, but the younger guy has a ways to go before he is making blockbusters. Seemed like he did the same thing while at Barnett. He picked up a nice review from wine enthusiast on the 09 elevation 1147 but Parker and Spectator weren't quite as loving of his wines.

A bottle of wine is a solid drunk on my personal level of inebriation. Kudos to you. Mondays suck. Drink away.

Recently I drank a bottle of cabernet at home. Then 4 Stone Ruinations at the yardhouse in downtown LA. Then I went to the Lakers game and had 4 double vodkas and red bull. Then I went to espn zone and had a double shot of jaiger. Then I had a Stella Artois when I got home, went to bed, and went to work the next morning. You ok now?

You're fine. I've been there. Hell, the SO and have consumed a fifth of Makers and a fifth of Jack before.

Different nights. All alcohol induced evenings ended with us in bed

I'm normally an Edna Valley fan, but I opened a bottle of the 2010 Edna Valley Merlot a few days ago and it was one of the worst bottles of wine I've tasted in the past six months. It was undrinkable.

I do love their chardonnay though.

I drink whole bottles all of the time.

When you spread it out over a whole evening, 4 glasses or so really isn't that bad.
