...and just to set the record straight, the only thing i said that would be construed as critical was the difference of how we enjoy our scallops cooked. If it were a filet thread, and MD said that he can't handle any pink in the center, I would say the same thing, that I like mine more rare to medium rare.

I'll reiterate that I enjoy MD's posts, and he can cook for me any day. My recent pork thread was modeled after his posts.

Keep up the good work.

Agreed. I deleted my comment. My tax bill and kidney stones have made me overly sensitive and silly.

I think you were a little bit more critical than that

Looks great, as usual. Serious question though, how much do you weigh cooking all that shite that you eat?

Don't get me wrong, it looks fantastic, but your Monday night dinner is as heavy as my once-a-month splurge meal. In any event, I'm jealous, and keep it up

Degas:

We have no problems. I cook for me and my wife. If you were a guest In my house and I knew what you liked I would cook your portion the way you preferred.

I have never posted anything that achieved universal atta'boys. Would be strange if that happened. Just don't criticize my Tater Tots and balonga casserole recipe and we will be fine.

That was Friday night dinner. Today so far breakfast = 1 cup raisin bran with skim milk and splenda and several cups of coffee. Lunch = diet Dr Pepper. Dinner = whatever the wife cooks - maybe quiche. Tomorrow same breakfast and lunch, dinner = salad at church.

You have seen photos of me here. 6'3" wt 195. Size 8 head. Size 12 feet. Buns of lead. Old fart disposition. White hair. Medtronics pacemaker, St. Jude carbon fiber heart valve. Heavily scarred body bad hearing. Excellent taste in women (wife MHNBPF), wine and diet drinks. Likes Lite Beer. Brain works just fine for an old guy, thank you.

Edited to add - had taco X 2 Monday night. Taco Bell fix.

Oh dear lord. Now you've done it. Mentioning taco bell will bring serious wrath down upon your head.

I do enjoy your threads. You make things that sound complicated but are simple and good.
