I did grilled bone in ribeyes, with a spinach salad with blueberries, mandarin oranges, and almond slice with balsamic vinagrette. I then did this dessert. I posted about it with directions on food board.

For Starters Normally I would get nice thick steaks but my wife prefers her steaks not as thick as I like them so I got some thinner cut rib eyes. They were actually pretty darn juicy, tender and delicious. Grilled them on the Primo Jr Oval, baked potatoes, steamed broccoli & cauliflower with cheese sauce and warmed bread. No plated pictures.

Spinach salad with pancetta, toasted pecans, blue cheese and campari tomatoes with pepper jelly vinaigrette. Mustard and parmesan crusted rack of lamb and fig chutney with garlic rosemary mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. Molten chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. (I should've taken a pic of it oozing)

I cooked the wife some salmon over raosted beets and an aparagus orzo salad with a little dill and caper sauce. And a little lava cake for dessert.
That looks absolutely superb here's what my SO cooked for us. roasted lamb chops w/ pureed turnips, sauteed spinach and a reduction of marsala. drank a grenache and a red blend from Rhone. dessert was raspberry sorbet.

She go to Cleaver? She asked me earlier in the week. SO turned out a good meal? Hard to believe you have any Grenache left.

This is the lamb recipe I used and it was amazing. Figs aren't in season right now. I just bought dried figs and put them in boiled water until they softened. LINK

I did a lobster bisque for starters with a bottle of Nicholas Fuillatte Rose. Then grilled 2 ribeyes with some truffled asparagus, and a bottle of Bila Haut.

I'm not sure if the coating would crisp up on the grill. You could always use the grill for the searing step to get that grill flavor and then finish in the oven. Be sure to use a meat thermometer as to not overcook. You want it at 125 for rare and 130 for medium rare. I cooked mine for 18 minutes and it was perfectly in between rare and medium rare...but it depends on the size of your lege of lamb. Mine was really small. Larger ones take up to 25 minutes to get to between rare and mid rare. Also..be sure to use high quality (expensive) parm. Do not use the crap in a green can. Use stuff that's about $16/lb. You can taste the difference.

I guess I did take a plated picture the other night because I had this on the camera today. Garlic and butter sauce was delicious on that steak. I guess having a bug here for the last few days I shouldn't have eaten so well(read that as rich food)but I was determined to have a nice meal with the wife for Valentine's Day. Now if I could just get rid of that sick feeling. BTW, no one noticed that I had placed those steaks on the grill in a heart shape. Lol..........

No pics (I know, GTFO), but we did beet risotto, roasted tequila lime marinated whole duck, and roasted brussels sprouts with a walnut oil, meyer lemon and dijon mustard dressing.
