Paul Posluszny, Sean Lee and Dan Connor.

Would of bet anything that Connor was going to be an NFL great he's actually turned out to be the least productive and is probable on his last thread as an NFL player

Sticking with the two RBs theme...

Eric Dickerson and Craig James

And for basketball, Paul Pierce and Raef Lafrentz maybe?

Really? I always thought Mike Bibby was a much better player in college. He was one of the most poised freshman PGs I have ever seen. I know Simon was a good player but he was no Mike Bibby.

Matt Cassel and Matt Leinart? Although Cassel kind of blows now too. Still, nobody would've seen him having a better NFL career than Leinart.

Derrick Rose and Chris Douglas-Roberts.

Everybody knew Rose would be a superstar, but I thought CDR would catch on and be a solid rotation player somewhere. Is he on a roster somewhere? I could be wrong, maybe he is contributing, I just haven't heard his name in a hot minute.

I know. That's why he made it in the league for this long. I thought it would be the other way around between him and Morrison.

And if I remember correctly, Dee Brown and D Williams

I can one up you even there and go back to high school. Deron Williams wasn't even the best player on his high school team. Bracey Wright was more highly regarded coming out of the Colony

I got seduced by one of the greatest high school baseball players ever with the five star football credentials and rocket arm and wanted him to get all of the playing time at quarterback, Drew Henson. I wondered why Lloyd Carr was monkeying around with this kid Tom Brady. Funny thing is, there were lots of signs that Brady was better at the time, it was just hard to overcome the hype.

Was coming to post that.

I'll say Raymond Felton and Sean May.

I'll also toss out Shaq and Stanley. Classic example of roads diverging

No one outside of LSU thought Roberts would be on Shaq's level in the NBA. A great pro maybe, but Shaq was supposed to be a hall of famer when he got drafted.

Elton Brand and Trajan Langdon

Everyone knew Brand would be a solid pro, but Langdon was a ridiculous scorer in college. Surprised he never amounted to anything in the NBA.

Flynn and JR for sure. Didn't think JR would be a star but at least noticeably better than Jason Campbell or something like that.

CDR has had plenty of chances and has shown that he can be a quality NBA player. However, in his mind he thinks he is on the same level as someone like D. Rose; and he lets that opinion be known to anyone that will listen. He has burned so many bridges with the various teams that he's been on, that it's hard for him to get serious looks now. I think he spent a brief period of time with the Lakers this year, but got cut.
