Anyone Been To The Londoner In Awhile ?

i haven't been in ages, but was thinking about going there tonight or tomorrow night .. just wondering if the place has gotten better or worse since their opening a few years ago ..

I still don't think I've ever gotten good service there except sitting at the bar.
I liked the burger though.

This is true. The burger is legit though and you can get some spicy mac and cheese thats not on the menu that is pretty awesome.

yeah .. it is the place with the double decker bus in the parking lot next to ginza sushi and hong kong ..

I'll admit that several times were during big soccer matches, but the service was laughably bad. On a normal night that might not be the case.

the food's still meh, but the bar is great. I would advise that you eat elsewhere and just go there to drink and watch sports.

the one thing that kind of turned me off of the place the last few times i went was just how expensive it was for what you were getting .. it was nothing for the wife (then the gf) and i to run up a $100+ tab and just wonder how it got that high ..

I go pretty often.... I really enjoy the Tuna and Chips, and they usually have a respectable beer selection

Food isnt good, but the upstairs is pretty awesome, pool, darts, shuffleboard.

Haven't been in a while either. Honestly quit going because of the service(not to beat a dead horse around here), but you're right, a lot of their beers seemed to be pricey compared to other restaurants in the area.

When they first opened I had a few good meals there, the last 4 or 5 were regrettable. Not going back.

Yes, they do. My favorite dish there.
As far as BR bar/pub establishments go, I'll say The Londoner is pretty good. Nice beer selection. Pretty good food for the type of place. And a fairly pleasant atmosphere. Like others, I've had mixed experiences with the service.
