we are still a young team. lots of talent. i guess you figured we should go undefeated this year and have now given up on them.
Being in the bottom half of the top 10 is no slight. I think UF, Bama, USC, Ohio State, and Texas currently have a brighter looking future than LSU. After that, I'd probably rank LSU at 6-7. That's not bad at all.

Dude, do you not know anything about college football?..thats ridiculous...go to the a&m website, and see their history records since 90-01...you obviously dont have a clue...oh and notice when they dropped in record, notice when LSU rose up...then get back to me k...great
Let me give you a little advice since you're new to the board. Feel free to make your point without trying to insult- and especially don't insult if you can't make a point.
I'll address the only part of your post in which you attempted to contribute anything of value. You said "go to the a&m website, and see their history records since 90-01..."
Better yet, why don't you look at A&M's history since just before World War II to give you a complete overall view of their irrelevancy. The Aggies have finished in the top five ONCE (1956).
How relevant is a team if they never threaten to win the national title? Hell, Tulane has had more top 5 finishes in the past 15 years compared to A&M.
Yet you say that A&M is down since LSU emerged in the 90's and it simply is not true. A&M has NEVER been a contender in 70 years.
"you obviously dont have a clue...oh and notice when they dropped in record, notice when LSU rose up...then get back to me k...great[/quote]"
You're not looking big picture, but it's cute that you know nothing about college football prior to 1990.

Wow, i didnt realize that to make a point i had to go back 70 years. I truly cant im not 80 yrs old. If you think college football is the same from those days to the television days of college football then im sorry.. Im not trying to be ugly im sry if you felt that way through my post.
Ill make my point again, if LSU continues to be a top 5-10 football program, then Texas A&M will be a down program. If your telling me that they werent a top 15 program during the TV era of college football and replaced by LSU for taking control of greater Houston area then i dont know what to tell you..That is my point. Im not understanding how you cant see that point (for saying im trying to insult to make a point) when its very clear..Thanks
