Tell me you’re too young to have watched Saban at LSU without telling me you’re a teenager

UGA is not the defending national champ and #1 team in the nation because they let up on teams.

This year’s Kent and Missouri games would suggest otherwise.

There isn’t one loss that can be blamed on Daniels.

FSU - didn’t score a TD in the whole first half

aTm - we had come out of the half and seized momentum, and he fumbled it away

Tenn and UGA were more on the defense and special teams, but had we lost to Auburn or Arky those would have been on JD too.

Didn't realize he was the only one on the field and calling his own plays. Didn''t realize the first half is a whole game. Didn't realize JD had his XP blocked. Didn't realize he muffed the punt on his 10.

And aTm scored the most points of their season against LSU, even more than against Sam Houston. Guess JD was playing on D?

Do you want more or is it clear how retarded you are?

Didn’t he not watch the second half of the GA game perhaps?

How many sub 100 yard games are Nuss or Howard are allowed next year? 3 each like JD had this year?

40 plus starts for JD and he still needs development?

Pass, too many sub 100 yard games for JD. Passing accuracy still isn't SEC level, but he is the best running quarterback in the SEC.

That’s cause he looked at stats and highlights instead of watching full games and taking in the “throw the fricking ball!” moments.

FSU didn’t score a TD in the first half, but that also ate up most of the clock giving LSU few chances at possession. They also scored 21 in the second half. Daniels led LSU to scoring position on 5 of 7 drives. A bad snap and Boutte not looking for the ball stalled the two of those 5 that didn’t end in a TD. Even with those mistakes that weren’t on Daniels, they would have had 27 points on 7 possessions without special teams screw ups. A normal game is 10-14 possessions. If the defense could have just gotten FSU off the field, the offense was efficient enough to put up 40+ that night. That game absolutely was on the defense and special teams.

The defense also gave up 14 straight points on the next two A&M drives after that after giving up 17 points on A&M’s first 3 drives. Yes, if Daniels and the offense had been close to perfect maybe they could have kept pace. That doesn’t change the fact the defense gave up 31 points on A&M’s first 7 possessions. Expecting the offense to be even more efficient than that is unreasonable and blaming the offense for the loss in that circumstance is ridiculous.

in the 15th game of the season

So he went 14.5 games thinking hurts gave them the best chance

I don’t think it’s ridiculous to blame the offense, specifically the QB, for giving up a TD after two straight stops in a tie game…

It is when those were the only two stops the defense got all game until garbage time and it is when the only reason it was even tied at that point was that the offense had been playing well to keep pace.

You guys keep saying he regressed

He absolutely regressed. He reverted back to the ultra conservative hesitating Jayden Daniels after the Alabama game. He flashes every now and then but teams have figured out how to defend him as we saw Arkansas, A&M and Georgia do it three sec games in a row. He had 200 passing yards in one half and 10 points to show for it.

Frankly, I dont think JD can get his reaction speed up enough to improve his midrange and long ball game.

I’m tired of all this bullshite. Any 1 of the 3 QBs we have, with the 4-6 WRs we have, should be able to run a highly effective passing offense next year.

BK came to LSU for more talent - he’s got it now and all off season to install his offense. I don’t care which QB he starts-all 3 are top notch. Pick one, get to work, win the SECCG next year.

I think we should ALL be able to agree on that at least.

Why would we lose Howard? He’ll be a redshirt freshman next year with 4 years to play.

EGO.

His ego might kick in and he might not want to sit the bench again.

If JD5 comes back in 2023 and Nuss decides to stay, he might just say "Frick This" and decide to transfer.

Of course, he could very well win the QB battle outright in the Spring. (Remember, BK recruited him when he was at Notre Dame)

The bigger question is, do you want to play JD next year if he comes back and be 3 years away from a NC or do you go to your future and try to win one in 2 years? JD isn't winning you a NC.
