I really do not get the accusations of hatred. Makes no sense to me. The guy cannot play well enough imo. That's it. To the extent he takes snaps for LSU next year, I hope he kills it, but I would not bet on it.

Playing QB is about the process the player uses. Daniels has inferior processing mechanisms whatever those may be. He’s had 4 years. Maybe time to move on?

I agree that Daniels played better against GA because he was injured. It forced him to throw the ball when his inclination is to run.
To me it's a toss up. I think Daniels has peaked and Nuss might be coming around but u don't know.
I will try to trust Kelly to make the right decision but LSU had a history of that not happening.

It's pointless to worry about retaining players in the era of the portal. The best player should play, and if someone transfers then we'll just get a transfer for ourselves to replace them. If CBK thinks Daniels is the guy, he's not gonna bench him just to keep Nuss or Howard around.

If JD stays, Howard only sits one more year because Nuss likely transfers.
If JD Goes and Nuss starts, Howard will likely sit 2 maybe 3 years behind Nuss, unless Howard is ready to start in 23 and best out Nuss.

Fill the roster with more quality players on both lines, and it won't be such a critical issue. Look at UGA. Little Stetson Bennett wouldn't be shite on an average team.
We were 124th out of 131 teams in QB sacks allowed. On the other side, a crap team like Texas S&M ran it down our throats due to lack of depth on the DL and LBers.

Interesting that you have a Heisman quote in your sigline about the importance of ball security and yet you are so ready to throw away JD and hand the reins over to Nuss. Lets take a look at Ball Security as an LSU Tiger..
JD: 1 turnover per 91.8 plays. (rush & pass combined)
Nuss: 1 turnover per 22.3 plays (ditto)
additionally, lets look at scoring...
JD: 1 TD per 23.1 plays (rush and pass combined)
Nuss: 1 TD per 25.2 plays
Now I personally wouldn't use ball security as my main selling point for one QB over the other, but I wouldn't have that point in my sigline and then choose the QB that has no concept of securing the ball.

If JD5 and LSU doesn't at least make the SECCG, BK will get killed by the media. Especially, if Nuss is somewhere else next season lighting it up!
I doubt Nuss stays if JD5 returns. The kid is too talented to be on the bench again, behind a guy with lesser arm talent as well.
If WH is as good as speculated to be, Nuss will definitely feel like he won't get much playing time here.

If all 3 are still here, it should be an open competition; however, if Nuss makes any type of strides in terms of protecting the football and Howard lives up to the hype, JD shouldn’t be the starter.

If Daniel's elects to come back, he absolutely should be the starter.
If Nussmeier wants to leave, then fine. You don't allow a kid who has shown some upside, but still appears to be mistake prone, to affect your decisions as a head coach.
