A man who reportedly tried to jump a turnstile Sunday morning died after falling to the ground, a law enforcement source told News 4.

Officers found the 28-year-old unconscious on the ground of the Forest Hills-71st Avenue station around 6:45 a.m.

The man, who was not immediately identified by police officials, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Camera footage recording the incident allegedly shows the man attempting to jump the turnstile, the source said Sunday.

There is a video of it on twitter. Don't want to get banned so I am not linking but it can be found on the page of @stillgray

The dude somersaults onto his head no doubt snapping his neck in the process. Instantly dead. Doesn't seem like it was worth saving that $2.75 fare.

To be fare, that seems pretty steep for just a subway ride.

New York charges the same fare no matter the distance.

DCs is metered based on how far you travel and peak times and what not. I imagine New York’s is way too busy to meter people as they exit as well.

It also didn't help that he had a loaded backpack on, either.

Idiot. Darwinism takes another one.

It's been 7 years since I've been to NYC... too damn long. Need to get back once this COVID shite is over officially. I'm pretty sure we just did a week long unlimited pass though rather than individual rides.

I'm guessing he wasn't exactly the top in his state in track & field!

What would be the logical conclusion? And what would be the Left’s logical solution in NY?

Stick around and see what happens. Turnstiles will be canceled. Book it.
