As it should, it was based off the Shelby Daytona.
The Viper is one of those "Never meet your Hero" situations....great car to look at however, especially the Gen II GTS....

It was a MOPAR parts-bin special....everything but the body was parts off other MOPARS. Radio was from a Jeep Wrangler, steering wheel and rack was from a Neon, engine was out of a Dodge intrepid, Gauge cluster from PT Cruiser, etc...
