Dude you are fricking DELUSIONAL if you think Oklahoma is winking anything in the next 10 years. Not only do they get the shite beat out of them by scrubs every year, they’re going to get boat raced the day they step in the SEC. sorry pal, those close games to schools like Slippery Rock or some shite are over.

I take absolutely no embarrassment from getting beat by the literal best college football team of all time.

Yep, they sure did, and they also won a fricking title 2 years ago with a retard at the helm of the program. When’s the last time OU help up a title trophy?

A long arse time ago.

I’m not going to sit here and pretend like LSU isn’t a great program. That would be absurd.

That said, I think OU is objectively the better job. Norman is a better place to live than Baton Rouge, the OU administration is friendlier to football than LSU’s, and LR will earn a nice raise from OU out of LSU’s coaching search.

I’m not saying any of this as a slight to LSU. I live in Louisiana and want nothing but success for my state’s flagship university.

Since you said Norman > BR (which I’m not arguing because I don’t know the first thing about Norman) — how’d you wind up here?

Honest question (sounded rude). But if the answer does happen to be work related, I’d have to point out that we are in fact talking about a multimillion dollar contract job.

Riley at LSU would win significantly more titles than he would win staying at Oklahoma. Better job is relative to what he wants.

Moving to the sec won’t change Oklahoma’s reliance on having to recruit nationally. They do it well, but it’s also twice as much work for half the payoff vs being in a state with a recruiting base that you have mostly to yourself.

Ha, this is something my OU friends are constantly fricking with me about. They will call on Saturday morning and say “what time do you all play today?”

I wouldn’t say Norman is a better place to live than Baton Rouge….. there are fewer Cajuns there. No Louisiana culture.. so it can’t be better.

I think Alabama might have something to say about LSU having Louisiana’s top recruits to themselves.

When Les was here, yes, they would have something to say. But since Ed has been our coach, Alabama has not taken a single five star player from Louisiana. They've been taking the guys we don't have spots for.

What Ed has done with those vaunted recruiting classes on the field is a totally different story.

No, they don’t.

We lock down the vast majority of Louisiana recruits every year, including almost all of the top 5 or 6 almost every year.

Our 2019 title was primarily a Louisiana team + Joe burrow.

LSU can win titles on Louisiana players alone.

LSU has won 3 nattys with 3 different coaches since OU has won their last one. LSU is far and away the better job. Don’t kid yourself.

Then you’re a delusional clown. Here’s some homework for you, 1) find me a few publications that has the OU job ranked over LSU, 2) learn how to use ‘objectively’ in a sentence.

One question, if LSU was 8-0 would they be ranked 8th or in the top 2?
