Full disclosure I haven’t lived in either town, but I have lived near both of them. Baton Rouge isn’t a top city in the US by any means, but it’s perfectly fine. Norman isn’t a bad town either, but if you listened to the Okies you would think it was some kind of Mecca of shopping and entertainment. I’ve always found Baton Rouge more interesting than Norman, even if Norman is a lot safer.
