He played most of his ball at Scottsboro High School. His father (Pat) took another job and he followed him. His father has been his coach for all of his HS years.

We're on a Top 8 for an Auburn legacy? Yipppeee... even if not Auburn, against those schools Canada REALLY needs to show out his Offense for us to even get in the real conversation

Sounds like Auburn to me. That's fine with me. We've got Brennan and Narcisse for a few years!

I still don't understand this "star" system. No.1 dual QB in the entire country and only a 4 star?

Because as dual threat qbs go he's only a 4 star. Just because he's the best of the best available doesn't automatically make him a 5 star overall.

The way I have always seen it explained is the projection of what kind of production a team can expect to get from a player. QB is especially hard because often they will see a red shirt or even sit at least their freshman year so because of this a 5 star is typically off the table.

Good QB but He will have a down year. Most of his coaching staff just left town. Dissent in the ranks. Still will be an Auburn tiger.

Is this the QB that was quoted saying he never lost in his dark jersey when we forced them to wear blue in TS?

Patrick Nix's safety in 1995 is how I remember him most. "I heard a whistle!!!"

I was there in the student section. There definitely was a whistle that came from the SEZ.

Does anyone really believe he'll go somewhere other than Auburn?

Honestly you never know. One would think that Auburn has an advantage especially over the other SEC teams, but if he signed with Ohio State or FSU it wouldn't surprise me.

Pat Nix is my favorite QB in Auburn history. His game winning pass to Troy Twillie was the stuff of legend.

would be awesome but we'll be stuck with some "athletic" mental midget like Harris or Jefferson as usual
