Veteran football coach Mike Shula is joining Minnesota's staff as a senior offensive assistant, working with the quarterbacks, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Shula was South Carolina's offensive coordinator last season and was Alabama's head coach from 2003 to 2006.
